Connect

Cloud is MQTT. The broker pushes data both ways: no polling, reconnects cost one packet, and the broker itself announces if the agent dies (Last Will). The default is now our own broker on the Linux bridge board (Mosquitto, reached over the Tailscale funnel at wss://mqtt.alhaita-solar.cc/), fed by the board-side push bridge — the ESP32 is no longer in the cloud path. The login is built in; the Device ID selects which converter.

Reads /converter/telemetry, /settings and /status. Writes by pushing to /commands and /write, which the agent deletes after executing. The dashboard never touches the serial port, so swapping the PC agent for the ESP32 changes nothing here.
